They’ve been going through managers once a month it seems lately and after the defection of Wisey to Newcastle, Scot Gary McAllister has taken charge of the Coca-Cola League One side.  The 43 year old will get the hero’s welcome, having earned legendary status by winning the Football League Championship in 1992 (the year before it changed it’s name to the Premiership) with Leeds  and being a part of a Batty, Strachan, Speed midfield.  After a free transfer to Liverpool, he won the League Cup, FA Cup and UEFA cup in 2001 at the age of 36 before moving to Coventry to manage.  The former captain of Scotland left the club to care for his wife who went on to pass in 2006.
