I was just watching the Italian highlights from the weekend, and seeing the man beast that is Zeljko Kalac I started to wonder if he is the tallest goalkeeper in the history of the world. Standing at almost 6’8″, Kalac is one ginormous dude. After much pontificating about Zeljko’s (love that name) height, I began to wonder why he is so often overlooked for the calamity that is Dida. I say out with Dida, and in with Zeljko the Great! On a side note, all this talk about oversized goalkeepers reminded me of my friend Zoltan, who himself was an oversized goalkeeper with freakishly large Agoos-esque calves.  We miss you Zoli the goalie!
