One of the nicest guys in the Bundesliga has announced his immediate retirement after failing to get a game at Bayer Leverkusen since December.

The 33 year old Carsten Ramelow represented Germany at the Full Level 46 times (was a starter in the 2002 World Cup Final) and played a total of 333 Bundesliga matches, scoring 22 goals.
