Sanchez defiantly refuses to resign

While he’s been widely regarded as the most talented player Mexico has ever produced, Hugo Sanchez has been less than stellar as head coach and today, he steadfastly refused to turn in his resignation.
Do you think it was a huge mistake for Sanchez to take the reigns of a team that “should” have had no problems with Qualifying for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing? And remember those bombs he was tossing at Ricardo LaVolpe not too long ago?
