We are big fans of people who have the ability to change a game. Whether that is a soccer game, or any other game, “game changers” hold my respect. Jay Z is one of those people that fall in this category. This dude has been at the top of the hip hop game for years now, and he is constantly doing things to stay ahead of the curve. After recently stepping down as President of Def Jam, there were all kinds of rumors as to what his next move would be. The leading rumor of course was that he would start his own label with Apple. Well all speculation can be put to rest, as Jay Z has signed a $150 million deal with Live Nation, which is the biggest contract in music history (Live Nation also recently signed Madonna and U2 to some serious deals as well). With the music industry in a state of panic, Live Nation appears to be pushing the boundaries as to a new business model for both artists and the companies that support them.
