Hicks Asks for Parry’s Resignation

After deciding to stay in Texas to watch the Rangers opening day game while Liverpool came back in stunning form to push past Arsenal at Anfield and into the Semi-Finals of the Champions League, Co-Owner Tom Hicks has asked Liverpool Chief Executive Rick Parry to step down over his perceived siding with George Gillett.

The drama, which has been unfolding for the last six months has fortunately not affected the players as rumors have trickled down about players, staff and higher ups all season long.

A breakthrough was thought to have been achieved with Dubai group DIC, but Hicks and Gillett couldn’t come to an agreement as Hicks would have to approve the sale, but is looking to acquire all of Gillett’s shares personally rather than see them sold to another group.

As of now Gillett seems highly intent on selling his half stake in the club while Parry has publicly asked for the two to make a common sense decision involving one of the most supported clubs in the world.
