Cha-Ching goes the Euros in the Bank

Although his agent Pini Zahavi was adamant that his client could have gone elsewhere, 29 year old Center-Back Rio Ferdinand put his Herbie Hancock on a new 5 year deal with Manchester United.
Even though Ferdinand had two years remaining on his contract and an extension was planned for the summer, the partnership in the middle with Vidic must have settled his mind on agreeing to a long term deal.
Well, that and the 130,000 Euro a week.
