Looks like Rio isn’t the only lucky one as Michael Carrick AND Wes Brown have all put pen to paper, signing new deals with Manchester United.

While Rio’s contract extension is believed to be in the 130 thousand Pound per week neighborhood, Michael Carrick’s extensions has come as a bit of a surprise as Man U paid 18.6 million Pound for him in only 2006 from Tottenham.

We’d heard from just about everyone how Wes Brown was set to move on after refusing to sign a new contract extension and looked set to leave in the summer.  But the man who’s only known United has finally agreed to his new contract, something Kevin Keegan can’t be happy about.
