Last night Beans and I headed down to training in Manhattan Beach for training with Hollywood United.

With the team’s preparations for the 2008 Lamar Hunt Open Cup after sweeping the USASA Region 4 Qualifying Tournament out in Arizon, twice weekly sessions with games on the weekends are of high importance.

Last night Anthony Lapaglia was in goal (as usual) with Beans running the midfield for the Green Bibs, while Matt Taylor and myself were in the midfield for the other side in the full field 11 v 11.

Today I can barely stand up straight.

Keep an eye out for Hollywood United as they take on FC Alpine United next Sunday, June 1st for a Celebrity Game over in Pacific Palisades to celebrate the start of the 2008 European Championships in Switzerland and Austria. Admission is FREE.
