UPDATE - Roberto Donadoni has finalized his 23 man roster ahead of the 2008 Euros.

Fiorentina’s Montilivo was the odd man out after Donadoni had named 24 players to his initial training roster (as Perrotta had a calf injury worry).

The world champions face Belgium in a friendly in Florence on Friday ahead of their Euro 2008 Group C matches against the Netherlands, Romania and France.

Alessandro Del Piero is back in the Italian Squad after having scoring 21 goals in Serie A this season, but that wasn’t the biggest surprise in Roberto Donadoni’s short list.

Real Madrid/on loan Sampdoria striker Antonio Cassano was also included in the squad, despite his difficulty staying out of trouble having been suspended 5 matches for throwing his jersey at a referee.
