In 2000 it was Armas, Adin Brown and Steve Cherundolo that missed out because of knee injuries sustained right before the tournament. That meant Brad Friedel, Frankie Hejduk and Jeff Agoos were our over-age players after it was all said and done. Let’s hope not.
