With the Wifey up in Salt Lake City and Nesta still recovering from our hour long morning walk in 80 degree weather, I headed down to Hermosa Beach to check out the 2008 AVP CROCS Tour stop with Dave Schifrin (who I hadn’t seen in a year and a half), Laura and my girl/rep Carie Goldberg from Gold Standard Sports.

Todd Rogers and the 6′9″ Phil Dalhausser took their 3rd consecutive title, the 2008 AVP CROCS Hermosa Beach Open in just two games and damn, it was impressive.

Afterwards Dave and I grabbed some food from our favorite Mexican Food joint and headed back to Carie’s to watch the US - Argentina match.

I’m still trying to figure out what that donkey/referee called when he gave Pablo Mastroeni the Red Card in the 71st minute.
