What An Amazing Game - Open Cup Result

It was a great time for the boys as we somehow pulled out a 3-2 win in the 90th minute over a very, very good Portland Timbers.
Unfortunately we lost one of our true defensive leaders in Nas, as it looks like he tore his ACL.
I know the Timber faithful were talking a lot of smack before kickoff, but we’re hoping (as a team) that if we draw Seattle AT Seattle, you’ll come up, support us and represent!
Two weeks to go..
Congratulations. You guys played a courageous game against a piss poor Timbers team. You deserved to win. I speak for everyone in Portland when I say, KICK SEATLLE’s ASS!

Yes, congratulations. Understandably tough loss for us Timbers fans, but look beyond the Timbers Army’s venom and you’d find that HUFC earned our respect last night. That’s a tough group of guys with a lot of heart that deserved to win.
Regardless of your allegiances, one of the most beautiful things in sports is when a hard working group of supposed underdogs is rewarded. That’s one thing I still really love about the US Open Cup.
As long as Hollywood can somehow sustain the chip on their shoulder, the’ll take Seattle too.
