Reports out of Italy are confirming that Liverpool and Juventus have agreed to terms for Spanish midfielder Xabi Alonso.

Liverpool paid just over 10 Million Pound to Real Sociedad back in 2004 for Alonso and now are expected to rake in just over 14 Million Pound for the highly rated midfielder.

With that kind of money coming in, you’ve got to think that Rafa’s next bid for Gareth Barry will have to be higher than the 15 Million Pound bid they tossed Aston Villa’s way this week.
