Pep Says Adios To Three
Filed under: Barcelona, Transfer NewsNew Barcelona head coach Pep Guardiola is creating his own squad for the upcoming 2008/09 and has publicly stated that Ronaldinho, Deco and Samuel Eto’o are not a part of his plans going forward.
“With the technical secretary we are forming a new squad and Deco, Ronaldinho and Eto’o are not in our minds, but we will see how it goes.
“If Ronaldinho sincerely wants to be the player that he was again then he can be here. But the situation has deteriorated and the plan now is to create a strong squad.”
With regards to his attack, Guardiola had this to say - “We want three up there competing and some of the names in the papers have been very good.
“We know clearly who we want to sign and the names of those that will leave, but I am not going to say those names.
“In pre-season, six or seven players will come up from the B team and see how they do. I am the one who decides which players come and go, that is down to me.”
Good to see he’s using his common sense rather than his emotions when thinking about the future of his team. Barcelona will get a very good amount of money for those three and after already losing / making 4.7 Million Pound off the sale of Giovanni Dos Santos, you’d think that there will be a few purchases after the Euro 2008 Tournament.

ronaldinho deco and eto’o shuld not leave barca.
