Before moving to LA as a kid, I lived in Kansas City. At that time, the MISL was going strong, the Kansas City Comets were drawing great crowds, and any soccer player in KC spent at lest half the year playing indoors due to weather. It was at this time that I was first introduced to the adidas Samba. And although I was a young whipper snapper, I still knew that the Sambas were the king of indoor soccer kicks.

I eventually moved to LA and left indoor soccer behind. But  the Sambas never seemed to be too far away. In high school we were all rocking them, even cats that didn’t play soccer, that’s how iconic and important the Samba has been.

Starting next month, adidas will be rolling out a variety of Sambas throughout the rest of the year. The original black and white colorway kicks it all off, but check out som eof the other colors they will be releasing below. At only $60 you have to pick up at least a couple pairs on general principle alone.
