Newcastle owner Mike Ashley, the man named the 25th richest man in Britain, has supposedly named his selling price and New York based private equity fund Intermedia Partners just might have met his asking price.

Ashley had initially bought the Premiership club for 134.4 Million Pound last summer and is now valuing it at 420 Million Pound after holding informal meetings in New York, which Newcastle is of course brushing aside.

I’m just wondering if Ashley’s willing to sell now that his Ameobi isn’t around anymore.
