Allocation Date Set
Filed under: US Women, Women's Professional Soccer LeagueThe new Women’s Professional Soccer League has announced the Allocation Draft of National Team Players among the seven teams will take place the week of September 15th.
With players having the ability to let it be known which city they’d like to play in as well as the teams having their obvious wish lists, the only major thing standing in the way is an agreement with National Team Players Association.
The league is scheduled to debut spring of ‘09 with clubs in Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New Jersey/New York, St. Louis, and Washington, D.C.
Still think it’s pretty cool that the Women’s Professional Soccer League paid respect to Mis Hamm with her silhouette being used as the leagues logo.
