Wayne Rooney’s little brother John has earned himself his first professional contract, a two year deal with League 2 side Macclesfield Town at the age of 17.

Also a striker, John Rooney will earn around 150 Pound a week (not including bonus’) at Moss Road and already has already tucked away two full team appearances, one as a substitute against Barnet and a start against Chester in the last game of the season.
