Radiohead - House of Cards

UPDATE -

Just a little behind the scenes of how they made “House of Cards”. Absolutely nuts.

Radiohead is always pushing the limits of what they can do creatively. The video for House of Cards is no different. Apparently they didn’t use any cameras or lights for this video.

“Geometric Informatics scanning systems produce structured light to capture 3D images at close proximity, while a Velodyne Lidar system that uses multiple lasers is used to capture large environments such as landscapes. In this video, 64 lasers rotating and shooting in a 360 degree radius 900 times per minute produced all the exterior scenes.”

I’m not entirely sure what all that means, but I love the outcome, and how can you not be impressed that they used “lasers.”
