‘Joe is very happy to see him, but he is still down emotionally, still shaken. Right now, he just wants to get himself emotionally ready enough to get set for pre-season training,’ concluded Shittu.

Joseph Yobo

Everton centerback and Nigeria International Joseph Yobo will not be joining pre-season preparations anytime soon after his brother Norum was kidnapped at gunpoint in Nigeria.

One of three that was pulled from their car at gun point (although the other two, Barry Lakara and Ifeanyi Nwa were later released) around 4 am after leaving the Illusion Nightclub in Lagos, and it is believed that the kidnappers know Norum’s brother is footballer Joseph and will be demanding a ransom.
