The Best Murderous Villian Ever on Screen?

DOUBLE UPDATE - VIA PETEO (thanks for the heads up) - On opening day Friday, “The Dark Knight” also took in more money than previously counted, Fellman said. The film pulled in a record $67.85 million, up nearly $1.5 million from the studio’s estimates a day earlier.

UPDATE - Dark Knight has officially broken the all-time opening day box office take with 66,400,000.00 on FRIDAY.

That take bettered Spider-Man 3 by 7 Million and Pirates of the Caribbean : Dead Man’s Chest by 11 Million.

The Joker

I’ve got to be honest, I was never the biggest Batman fan but this… this is just a great movie poster. Throw in the fact that according to Michael Caine, Heath Ledger’s portrayal of The Joker will be “the most murderous psychopath you’ve ever seen on screen”, and I’m sold.
