Spartak Defender Kovac Gets Yellow For Tackling Fan

Spartak Moscow defender Radoslav Kovac earned himself a yellow card for tackling the shirtless pitch invader / fan during the Moscow derby between Spartak and Lokomotiv.

Not too dangerous of a tackle to be honest. You could tell by the way Kovac clipped him that it ws only meant to trip him up from behind.

Wonder how the referee worded the reason for the yellow in his official report to the league?

I realize the clip wasn’t that long, but was there ANY security even trying to get the guy? Why the F should Kovac have to trip him up? (I like how the fan stayed down on the sidelines. I think he was waiting to see if the ref pulled the red card!) I’m going to assume he appeals the card.
