Russell Brand To Host MTV Video Music Awards

The man who the American public knows from Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Russell Brand has been named host of the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards that will be held in Los Angeles on September 7th.

Brand is a former heroin addict, alcoholic and has had numerous run-ins with the law, having been arrested eleven times.

If you want to piss off the man and have very little control over your product, then Russell Brand is your man.
