With the recent release of the Nike Air Mcfly’s, now might seem like the perfect time to auction off the actual hoverboard that Marty rode in Back to The Future 2. Apparently there were two models of hoverboard made for the film, and this one is the one that survived the rigors of filming the best. At least that’s what they’re saying over at Gizmondo (and I have faith in th0se dudes when it come to tech stuff). The opening bid for this piece of movie going nostalgia is $30k which seems a bit ridiculous to m (it doesn’t even hover!). But I’m sure somebody out there with more dollars than sense will spend way too much money on this thing. Check a video of Marty in action after the jump.
