Hard work and dedication…this is a tremendous and victorious story. I have followed your career. I guided a young Steve Claridge after he was thrown on the scrap-heap as a kid by pompey, so I know how easy it is to give up.

… we can´t believe it, that nobody wanted you Matt!!! We are so glad to have you here in Koblenz. We have no special stadium but you started an incredible atmosphere with your 3 goals last sunday! First, excuse my English. I was among the 15.000 spectators at the match Koblenz-Kaiserslautern. It was a great game with an astonishing performance by Matt. Even his second goal was wonderful action. We’re proud to have such a friendly and intelligence guy at our team. Keep on rockin’ Matthew!

I talked to Matt today after a practice session. He´s doing well and already has a hero status here after his Hat-trick against Kaiserslautern

Seems that most of you guys know him better than me, i think he´s really a nice person and do you think he´d admit to go out an everning with some guys/fans to have a beer and some small-talk?
