Premiership star Cesc Fabregas found himself embarrassed when he couldn’t pay for dinner because his credit cards were rejected – twice.

The Arsenal midfielder, who earns around £80,000 a week, was dining with two women (…freaking nice btw) at top Soho private club Studio Valbonne when his bill of just under £300 arrived.

An onlooker said: “He tried one card, it failed. Then another. It failed again. After much faffing he sent an aide out to get cash.”
