Just got done with the Concacaf Champions League first leg between Cruz Azul and Hankook Verdes down at the FSC studios with my boy Jon Herz.
While it’s still only the Preliminaries, Cruz Azul was on fire tonight against a much weaker opponent.
Tomorrow night it’s Puerto Rico Islanders down in Costa Rica against Alajuelense.
What the hell was going on with the Revs last night…Shocking!
Is MLS a competitive illusion?
I think both results for the Revs and Chivas show how difficult it is to travel and play with only two days rest in between. But for MLS to be successful, they’re going to have to figure out a way to overcome it.
