Kenny Cooper Negotiations Stall

FCD has suspended negotiations with forward Kenny Cooper, who attracted interest from SK Rosenborg and Cardiff City during the summer international transfer window. Those negotiations will resume at the end of the season, if not before. Cooper will likely ask for Designated Player money. Even if it doesn’t make him a DP, FC Dallas is getting ready to spend a lot of money on him or someone else. His base salary is $80,000 for this season.

Cheap bastards! As much as I like having the opportunity to watch Cooper play, If Dallas doesn’t pony up some serious cash, I hope Cooper gets out quick.
