UPDATE -  Thanks for the heads up from Casey - Looks like Banksy’s latest down in the South has caught the attention of the local Art Critic, The Times - Picayune’s Doug MacCash who’s got an interesting angle on the graffiti versus art argument that has long affected the New Orleans communities since Hurricane Katrina.

    I generally despise graffiti, but Banksy’s work is so clever and, at times, thought provoking that I almost want him to paint some of his work in my neighborhood.

    Was hoping to get out and take pics myself of these. But now it looks like we might be evacuating tomorrow. Getting bags ready just in case.

    Problem is the storm keeps going west; but we have a 4 year old and don’t want to force him to ride it out.
