How long until Robbie Rogers heads abroad? What league(s) do you believe would best develop his talent? I for one am of the opinion that Spain & Italy should become the destination of choice as it appears that the more technical leagues (vs. manic paced leagues) would best serve the needs of the Nats…

I think that’s a great question, but we should also remember he’s just cut short his first European vacation with SC Heerenveen only a year ago. Sometimes it takes life security / comfortability to bring the best out in a player and truthfully, if you were a European club and found out Rogers had already been in Europe and had cut it short, would it scare you off a little?
There is absolutely no doubt that Robbie is one of the best wide players flat out in this league, but his growth since Peter Nowak cut him before the US Olympic Qualifiers has been amazing.
And he’s going to continue to get better.
