First, all of the storm troopers on the field and yoga masks in the stands for some promo for the Clone Wars TV show. Then, the smoke from the rockets launched during the national anthem lingered longer than usual so there was still a smoky fog for the first 10 minutes of the game. (Yes, they launch rockets on cue to "and the rockets red glare" -- pageantry is out of control at the Home Depot Center.) The whole situation was weird. Then the Galaxy gave up a goal in the second minute and the whole situation was sad. Thankfully, for my emotional well-being, we at least came back and won this game.
