Former Real Madrid President Lorenzo Sanz (from 1995 – 2000) has been arrested after a complaint from a financial institution, then released without charges.

Sanz had been detained with two other people and released a statement upon his release saying, “I had to go through the inconvenience of making a statement about a matter which I had nothing to do with and which they wanted to mix me up with.”
