I’ve known Oscar Pareja know for ten years and this is what he was meant to do after his amazing playing career.
I can’t even begin to tell you how far ahead these kids are from when I was their age. If you think about the level of play and where today’s players are at physically, mentally and technically compared to when I came into the league with Project-40 back in 1997, it’s day and night.
Much respect to FC Dallas for making this a priority within the club.
Dunny - this is the type of organizations that we need ALL over the country. I know that Wilmer Cabrera and the U17 Nat Team staff was devastated when Oscar Pareja (by the way…I must mention that he is a fellow Paisa - Colombian!!) took over the Dallas Youth Academy job…. Now the task is to get the youth set up all over the country like this!

Forgive my ignorance but why don’t more clubs have this type of dedication to growing talent? Is it money? Lack of resources? Not enough recruitment going on? Thanks.
