Champions League Group G bottom dwellers Fenerbahce is in even more trouble ahead of Wednesday night’s trip to London to face Arsenal after Brazilian playmaker and Captain Alex was forced out of Saturday’s 2 – 2 draw against Eskisehirspor just before halftime with a thigh strain.
“We have immediately started his treatment but it is impossible for him to play against Arsenal,” said club doctor Piyer Arzuman.
