After having been on the sidelines for the last 7 weeks and not been able to play anything more than weekend matches, Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves has flown out to Denver, Colorado to see knee specialist Dr. Richard Steadman.

He said: “Over the last few weeks we have been trying to manage the situation but the way we have been trying to manage it has not given us any answers.”

“In the past 10 days we have sent him to a specialist in Sweden, to a specialist in London and he is now in Colorado at the moment seeing Mr Steadman.

Sending Hargreaves to the man that’s brought back Shearer, Owen and van Nistelrooy isn’t a bad idea and surprised it’s taken this long to be honest considering the 17 Million Pound they paid to Bayern Munich.
