He's dealt with an incredible amount of injuries (2 - 3 major knee surgeries if I'm not mistaken, the 1st being with the US team in Boston), finally got himself fit and has been on a scoring tear as of late. Big, strong and makes life very difficult for defenders. Seems like Bob is rewarding players for performing towards the end of the 2008 MLS Season. I'm just wondering how things will play out at Dick's with attendance. If they aren't promoting as they should and people don't show up, I wouldn't be surprised to see Rio Tinto get the same type of games (ie - altitude and cold weather versus CONCACAF teams ((Mexico v US at Columbus)) next round.
