It’s a been an extremely difficult year that has seen a long term injury lay off, club tug of war and an unknown future for Ghana midfielder and Captain Stephen Appiah.

With the combative creative midfielder finally coming to an agreement with Turkish side Fenerbache to cut ties with each other back in August, the 27 year old has been without a club with his name linked with the major clubs in the major countries while training with former club Brescia.

With Milovan Rajevac recalling Appiah back for Ghana’s Wednesday night Friendly against Tunisia, the opportunity for a high level red carpet affair with plenty of scouts on hand is awaiting at kickoff.
