UPDATE - Captain Fantastic helped to end the year right for Fabio Capello and England.
Arsenal midfielder Theo Walcott has been withdrawn from the England squad for their upcoming Friendly against Germany after separating his right shoulder.
The 19 year old winger went down under a challenge from West Ham’s Scott Parker and is set for the sidelines for up to 12 weeks.
An FA statement said: “During tonight’s training session, England’s Theo Walcott dislocated his right shoulder after falling on the pitch. Theo was taken to hospital, where he has had the shoulder put back into place.
‘Theo will return to the England team hotel tonight and a decision will be made the morning by the medical staff as to when Theo can fly home. Arsenal’s medical staff were advised of the injury soon after the incident.”
