Spanish International Xavi has put to ease the fears of the Barcelona faithful after signing a contract extension that will tie him to the only club he’s ever played for until 2014.

After months of negotiations that included the addition of another year offered, the 28 year old will now earn over 7.5 Million Euro a season with incentives added on.

So far this season Xavi has scored 6 goals and sees Barcelona at the top of the table in La Liga and in the Champions League Group stages.
