NY Not In Osorio’s Future?
Filed under: Chicago Fire, New York Red BullI’ve always been extremely skeptical of quotes in newspapers coming out of other countries AND having to translate said quotes, but when it involves current New York Red Bull head coach Juan Carlos Osorio and a similar situation as to what we saw during the 2007 / 08 off season with the Chicago Fire, that’s when those articles start to catch my eye.

As reported today in the Colombian sports website, enlajugada, Osorio stated, “I don’t know if I’ll stay with New York. The club wants me to continue, but I’m not completely sure I’ll stay on as coach of the Red Bulls.”
“The club wants me and Juan Pablo Angel to say on, but they’re not very interested in strengthening our roster. Honestly, I don’t think I want to deal with getting hammered in the Concacaf Champions Cup next year. That’s the crucial point and what will determine my decision.”
This is about to get extremely interesting…..

Glad to see the only thing that surpasses Osorio’s club loyalty track record, is New Jersey’s inability to hang onto a coach for more than one year.
Keep up the good work cows.
Ives Galarcep just put out a blog post saying Osorio will stay with quotes from JCO himself. We’ll see what happens though..
