Former Italy Intermational and Inter Milan star Walter Zenga has come to an agreement with Catania over a new contract after guiding them away from Relegation last season and a current 9th place Serie A position with 22 points.

The former New England Revolution keeper and Head Coach has brought a winning mentality and new look to Catania that prompted a contract extension through the end of the 2009 / 10 season.

“We share the same views and goals. It was easy to reach an agreement,” Catania president Nino Pulvirenti said.
