Wayne Rooney scored the lone goal as Manchester United beat LDU Quito to become world club champions. This is the second time United have won the title, their first was in 1999 when they beat Palmeiras in the final.  Now it’s back to England as they have some work to do to as they trail LIverpool, Chelsea and Aston Villa in the EPL standings.
