Defoe Back To Spurs Fee Agreed?
Filed under: Harry Redknapp, Portsmouth, Rumors, TottenhamAfter only moving South a year ago to join up with Harry Redknapp and Portsmouth, it’s looking as if Jermaine Defoe is on his way back to Tottenham after news reports out of England are reporting that Spurs have just about met Tony Adams’ 15 Million Pound evaluation of the diminutive forward.

Defoe will be free to play against Burnley in the Carling Cup on Tuesday if the transfer is registered in time with the Premier League.
The deal represents a remarkable £5m profit for Portsmouth, who signed Defoe from Tottenham only last January.
Defoe’s signing is expected to be completed this morning. The north London club would also agree to waive money owed by Portsmouth for defender Younes Kaboul.
As Sportsmail revealed last week, Defoe had made it clear to Portsmouth he wanted to rejoin Spurs rather than any other club.Image vie Images

I wonder if Redknapp will give him a runout tomorrow against Burnley? He is rather short on backup strikers to put on the bench…..
