A 13-year-old boy is among 11 Tottenham Hotspur supporters charged with indecent chanting aimed at Portsmouth’s Sol Campbell at Fratton Park earlier this season.

They were arrested in connection with alleged racist and homophobic chanting towards the former England defender during Pompey’s 2-0 victory on September 28.

Police issued photographs of 16 people they wanted to speak to following the match, which led to the arrest of several men – including three minors.

All are due to appear at South East Hants Magistrates Court next Tuesday.

Campbell has been the subject of abuse from some sections of Spurs fans since leaving the club for north London rivals Arsenal on a free transfer in 2001.Image via Portsmouth24
