3 Beer Cans

You definitely won’t want to try and smuggle in beers inside Camp Nou after the State Commission Against Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sport fined Barcelona 4,000 Euro after the found three, yes THREE beer cans inside the stadium following their match against Mallorca earlier this month.

Via Goal
Marca reports that the club will pay €4,00, the maximum fine possible and the same amount that a fan paid after he threw a seat towards the pitch in the clash between Real Mallorca and Real Madrid.

The Commission has charged many fans already this season and plenty of the decisions made are intended to crack down on some of the evils in the Spanish game.

Some punishments seem to be a lot stricter than they would be elsewhere, with an example being the two fans who were banned for six months from going to matches after they were caught drinking alcohol in the match between Real Betis and Athletic Bilbao last year.

Similarly, during the game between Villarreal and Barcelona last year, five fans were found consuming narcotic substances and they will not be able to attend a game for the next six months.

Launching missiles onto the pitch, insulting a coach, drinking in the stadium, hindering police work and making fun of employees at the ground have all been punishable offenses this season.

In Segunda División, Xerez were found guilty after a fan ran onto to the pitch earlier this year; they had to pay a fine of €3,250 .
