i need to find one in houston. i think it would be awesome to find a TRUE english pub…kind of hard in TX though.

What about the Richmond Arms? Or Baker St. in the Village?

Here is my question though - where is a true American soccer bar, without the wood and brass English/Irish/Scot theme? Just soccer.

Damn Ive never been there, definitely need to check it out. I usually stray from the village…too many pompous d-bags in the mix. I heard about another one called the Red Lion…might need to scope that out as well. You from Houston?

Richmond Arms is very old school. Yeah grew up in H-town, moved to D later. That place, “The Mezz” is horrible, don’t go there. I’ve never been to Stags Head or Bull and Bear.

Sounds good. Supposed to go on a brewery tour this wknd for my bday, might coerce everyone to try and hit up a ‘pub.’
