Just got back from Mia and Nomar’s charity game. Headed down there with some of the crew and had a great time. Very important charity and cause and it was nice to see so many people show up to support. Full recap and lots of pictures after the jump.

Halftime was filled with emotions as speeches were given and Mia asked for everyone’s help in regards to becoming part of the bone marrow registry

These guys were introduced to the crowd at halftime. One of them is a father of two who had been incredibly ill and was not given much time to live. The other, is a man who he had never met before but saved his life because he was in the registry and was a match. Pretty amazing to see strangers who have had such a huge impact on one anothers lives, and to see someone that literally saved a man’s life. Pretty inspiring…

That’s Ryan Sheckler with the shaved head. Wasn’t hard to miss him as he was the only cat wearing sunglasses the entire game.

After the game we headed upstairs to fill out some paper work and join the marrow registry and get involved.

Along with filling out the form, we had to swab the inside of our mouths so they can test to see if we are a match for anyone. Somehow I feel some jokes coming my way for this picture…

Made one last stop upstairs in the lounge / bar before heading out. Signed Manchester United and Del Piero jerseys for the auction.
