West Ham last night agreed a £12million fee to sell the Wales striker to City after turning down a matching offer from London rivals Tottenham.
The 29-year-old is expected to complete the transfer before the end of the day, which will take the total fee for all his career transfers to about £43m.
Bellamy was photographed leaving the Lowry Hotel in Manchester today with City’s chief operating officer Paul Aldridge following a night of negotiations between the north-west club and his representatives.
