John - im not sure of their exact lineup but the team was selected from the same group of players as the squad that played the US. So i think it’s still safe to say that it was a B team.

The article notes that the Swedish goal was against a Mexican goalie who was a half-time sub. But what about the rest of the Mexican team? Was this a Mexican B-side, like that fielded by Sweden and the USA in the last week? Or was this the Mexican A-side? (Minus the injured, of course.)
Before I draw any conclusions on this game, I’d be curious to know what kind of team Sven fielded.

I thought I read somewhere before the game that SVE would be holding back players and not tipping his hand on formations for the US.
Is Mexico doing a bit of “Rope a Dope”…?

The goalie who was subbed at halftime though was Guillermo Ochoa, who is very much in contention for the top spot.
Mexico had mostly younger guys, but also had 5 players with 35+ caps (as compared to 0 for the US)
